John is passionate about capturing moments and creating images with enduring value. Before he even picks up the camera, John spends time getting to know his client over coffee or while sitting on the floor playing with bubbles. John believes portraits are given not taken. While shooting weddings and events, John is constantly seeking and finding those moments that capture the mood.

John splits his time between New York and Toronto, where he lives with his wife Peggy Moss, an award winning children’s book author, and their two daughters.
